Scientific Method

The 7 steps to the Scientific Method
1) Identify the Problem- this includes making observations.
2) Form a Hypothesis- this means to think about the question and form a guess on what the outcome is based on your knowledge of the specific subject. Put hypothesis' in if/then statements.
3) Test the experiment- do the experiment given to you
4) Gather and Analyze information- this means to gather the result of the experiment and think about what the information means.
5) Form a Conclusion- state what you found out and tell if your hypothesis is correct or not.
6) Form a Theory- tell why you think the events happened as they did.
7) Rewrite Results- this is important because it allows other people to use your experiment and test the experiment themselves to make sure the information is correct.

Note: The Scientific Method can be used on more than just an experiment, but on solving any kind of problems you may face.
